The Purpose of this Certification

This certification is a collaborative effort between three professional societies to recognize early-career and technician-level aquaculture professionals. 

It establishes minimum standards for training, experience, and service to the profession, while also promoting continuing education and skill refinement.

The Societies Involved:

  • Fish Culture Section of the American Fisheries Society
  • US Aquaculture Society Chapter of the World Aquaculture Society
  • National Aquaculture Association

Who Can Apply?

Applicant must be a member in good standing of at least one of the following organizations:
